Our Environmental Efforts:
1. Our products are sourced from artisanal societies dispersed across India, in a bid to support local craftsmen and further traditional prints, patterns, and designs through ethical small batch production.
2. Our organic fabrics are hand spun by handloom weavers across India and our textiles are naturally dyed by local dyers using 100% vegetable and medicinal dyes.
3. Our garments bear the OEKO-TEX certification mark to signify that they have been tested for harmful substances under sustainable product conditions.
4. Our packaging is recycled, recyclable, and compostable.
5. Our suppliers are part of the GOTS—Global Organic Textile Standard, which spells a limited use of chemicals in fabric production, and the use of a functional wastewater treatment plant.
6. Our practice of working with ISO-certified suppliers ensures safety, efficiency, following of social norms that guarantee workers’ rights, and quality assurance of products as per the International Organization for Standardization.
7. Our partnership with Tree Canada means that we actively invest in the restoration of damaged ecosystems and forests through the planting of trees, thereby helping the planet and cleansing its atmosphere from pollutants.
8. Our dedication to eco-conservation is a consistent effort in finding eco-friendly, organic, cruelty-free, and recyclable products and systems.
